About
Coaches and Team Managers play a vital role in the success of netball across our Association, from grassroots club teams through to our elite representative programs. They provide leadership, structure and care both on and off the court, helping to create positive, well-organised environments where players can learn, grow and perform with confidence.

At club level, coaches and managers are the heart of player development — nurturing skills, building teamwork, and supporting players and families throughout the season. Within our Representative program, Coaches are selected for their expertise, experience and commitment to high-performance development, aligned with Netball NSW principles and pathways. They are supported by dedicated Team Managers who oversee communication, logistics and player wellbeing, ensuring teams are prepared to compete at elite events including State Titles, Metro League and other representative competitions.

Together, our club and representative Coaches and Team Managers form the backbone of netball in the Illawarra. Their passion, professionalism and dedication strengthen our pathways, uphold our values, and proudly shape the Illawarra identity at every level of the game.
