Elite Pathway

Our Association proudly follows the Netball NSW Umpire Pathway, supporting umpires from their very first whistle through to opportunities at the highest levels of the sport — including progression toward Suncorp Super Netball. We offer a wide range of opportunities to become involved in umpiring, backed by clear development pathways, experienced mentors and strong support networks.

Our umpire development programs are intentionally aligned with and mirror the Netball NSW Umpire Pathways, ensuring consistency in education, assessment standards and expectations. This alignment provides umpires with a seamless progression from grassroots competitions through to representative, state and national-level officiating.

Whether you are new to umpiring, returning to the game, or striving to advance your career, our Association provides structured training, regular feedback, mentoring and match opportunities tailored to your stage of development. Through our Junior, Intermediate and Senior Umpire Programs, umpires are supported to build confidence, refine skills and reach their full potential — all while remaining connected to a welcoming and passionate netball community.
