IDNA offers a wide range of competitions designed to welcome everyone to the game.
From indoor competitions running year-round, to our competitive winter outdoor season, mixed netball
and NetSetGO for our youngest players, there truly is a competition for every age, ability and gender.
Whether you’re just starting out, returning to the court, or chasing high-level competition,
IDNA provides inclusive, fun and pathway-focused opportunities for all netballers to get involved and stay connected to the game.

Indoor Walking Netball
Walking Netball is fun, inclusive and social way to enjoy the game at your own pace. With modified rules and a welcoming environment, it's perfect for all participants looking to stay active and connected.
All games are played at Illawarra Sports Community Precinct with both day and night competitions for just $5 per week, per player:

Indoor Senior Comp
Our Senior Indoor Competition offers something for everyone, with Mixed and Women’s Only divisions, plus a fun and competitive Build Your Own Team option or join a team.
Kicking off in October 2025, it’s the perfect way to stay on court over summer.
Team nominations are now open on PlayHQ — get your crew together and join the action!

Indoor Junior Comp
Our Junior Indoor Spring Netball runs Tuesday to Thursday afternoons from 4pm and is perfect for players aged 8 to 16 years. This competition offers Mixed and Females Only divisions.
A fun, skill-building, and competitive environment to enjoy netball all spring, and your game fresh for Club Winter Comp!

2026 Development Carnival
The IDNA Development Carnival is a two-day event designed to provide quality competition and meaningful development opportunities for emerging netballers. Open to club and development teams aged 11–15 years, the carnival focuses on skill growth, teamwork and game experience in a supportive and well-organised environment, making it an ideal event for teams preparing for the season ahead.
Lock in the date and register your team for April 18 and 19.

NetSetGo Skills
A grassroots netball program for 5–7 year-olds, designed to introduce children to the joy of netball in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.
Run by IDNA volunteers and rep mentors, each session balances fun, skill development, and friendship, with tailored activities that promote learning and inclusivity.
Register now to receive an all-new participant pack, including a t-shirt and keychain.

NetSetGo Comp
Our NetSetGO Competitions run alongside the regular winter season and are designed especially for our youngest players, with two age groups available — 6/7 years and 8/9 years.
Using a modified version of netball, these competitions are the perfect introduction to the game, focusing on fun, learning, teamwork and building confidence on court. Each age group is tailored to support skill development at the right pace, creating a positive and enjoyable first experience of netball.

Mixed Outdoor Comp
Our Mixed Outdoor Netball Competition offers a fun, social and competitive way to enjoy the game, bringing players of all genders together on court. Played in a welcoming team environment, it’s a great option for those looking to stay active, build skills and enjoy netball with friends.
Divisions:
• Inters/Cadets (13–17 yrs)
• Seniors (14 yrs – Opens)
Registrations are via your local club — find a club and get involved this season.

Outdoor Winter Comp
Our Outdoor Winter Competition is the heart of the netball season, offering a fun and competitive environment for players from 10 years through to Seniors, across a range of grades and abilities. Running April to September, it’s the perfect way to build skills, friendships and a love for the game.
