  2. Download a free e-copy or purchase a hard-copy of the Rules Of Netball book.

Accreditation

Netball umpire National Badges recognise an umpire’s skill, knowledge and consistency at a national standard. These badges reflect progression through the Netball NSW umpire pathway, with each level demonstrating increased game management, rule interpretation, fitness and professionalism. Achievement is a significant milestone and highlights an umpire’s commitment to excellence and development within the sport.

Beyond IDNA

Umpiring can take you well beyond IDNA and all the way to the elite level of the sport. Through the Netball NSW and Netball Australia pathways, dedicated umpires can progress from local competitions to state leagues, national championships and, for those who excel, the pinnacle of officiating — Suncorp Super Netball.

This elite pathway is built on strong foundations of education, mentoring, performance review and ongoing development, supporting umpires to grow with the game and officiate at the highest standard. For those with ambition, commitment and passion, the whistle can open doors to extraordinary opportunities on the national stage.
